The definition of 霧峰草is that plants can live in barren environment with staunch heart. This program introduces 霧峰草( it means products of Agriculture in Wufeng in English) . However, we find a special seedling in old village. It means innovation.

Guangfu village is located Wufeng. In 1956, the Taiwan government worry about all government organization will be destroyed, so they decided to move to Wufeng.

There are some movie film in this place, but bus never coming again. The old village have been forgotten by people. However, the Taichung government decided to rebuild this old village and make it different.

Taichung government give this place to young people who want to start to undertaking. It also offers artist to exhibit their works. It make this old village with artistic atmosphere. In this picture, this is an example to young people start to undertaking.

Taichung also hold a special activity here. This activity named chair carnival. This activity makes Guangfu village more colorful, and attracts more and more tourists to here give it a visit.

The chair not just be painted in many color. There is a deep meaning and history in this chair. The words on this chair introduce that Taiwan government ever been here.

This chair represent local people at that time were loyal to their country. Although people leave this village, the spirit still living Guangfu village eternal.

Wei Chuan Corporation provides the local people a lot of job opportunities, it used to be Wufeng’s honor in local people’s heart.

This chair means rebuild after 921 earthquake. Although it was destroyed by 921 earthquake, people never give up when they face failure and frustration.

This place offer artist to exhibit their works. It also introduce Guangfu village and exhibit cultural relics in this building.
